Finding Solutions by Working Together

As far as payment processors go, the best I will do is a review for a
number of reasons.

  1. Amongst them are …
Member hostility to any form of accountability.
Member needs when under the gun need someone to blame.
A greater need for business people to educate themselves.

I have helped several members avoid payment processor issues. And
I have posted many articles that confirm the issues and reasons why
so many TE owners, mailers and more to come, will face issues they
prefer to blame on others.

Why?

The wild west on the net ended in 2004 with consumer laws and the
Can Spam acts. However, that did not mean the entrepreneurs of that
time the new people who began their online journey, nor the current
batch of business entrepreneurs has a clue about online statutes,
laws or rules that apply to their very existence.

Unfortunately, many, way too many owners prefer to believe there is
no laws for the internet and because it does not specify Traffic
exchanges, mailers etc, it does not apply to them.

Instead, someone sold them a bill of advertising goods that it is so
easy to become an online business owner. Then cheap scripts came
on the scene to support that easy opportunity.

It was not necessary for either those offers or others that followed,
to direct you to the laws, which is your responsibility to look up, read
and obey. For the most part, it can be said that their failure to be
transparent caused them grief in the forms of humongous fines.

They too ignored the laws that protect consumer rights, instead,
chose to feed the greed of hungry prospects in need of quick money.
False methods of advertising and poor support for what they offered,
led to customer complaints, most of which can be read in their
histories of why they are no longer in business.

The Ostrich Syndrome

Users of MLM programs, Traffic Exchanges, mailers etc. etc. all tend
to hide their heads in the sand, believing it is the responsibility of the
owners to obey the laws and stay legal. It is no skin off their nose if
this limitation (Paypal)or shut down and heavily fined (FTC or the
SEC) are levied upon them. They simply move on to the next payment
processor –  if an owner, or sign up if a user.

Simple checks like the Better Business Bureau can tell you a lot about
consumer complaints and what the BBB does in these cases. Most of
the worst offenders lose their standing. (Payza for one).

Why it is important to respond to complaints. ONE genuine response
from you can be all it takes to refute several customer complaints.
Most customers fail to reply to the response from the owner who they
complained about. That failure can nullify their complaint.

Reviews are done by competent and respected companies fully
licensed to do the reviews.

Credit card processors did one on Payza. If you ever wondered why?
they only deal with certain credit cards, this might be why.

Overall rating a C that covers …

Sales & Marketing
Costs & Contracts
Complaints & Service
BBB Rating

Quote:
‘The vast majority of Payza negative reviews by merchants have been
filed with regard to sudden, long-term fund holds and account
freezes.

Most of these merchants seem to have very little understanding of
what exactly they did to cause Payza to hold their funds, and the
public reason the company gives both on its website and in its
public responses to these complaints are numerous and inconsistent.”

This is an interesting read for Business owners who honestly believe
switching to Payza is an answer to their PayPal issues.

Good luck with your investigations. Hopefully, something posted here
in the blog, will help you find a solution.
