Trash Emails Gmail Frustration

If you sit on your butt all day in front of a computer,
you begin to get this trashy feeling, much like
trashed emails being deleted.

Hype is spam so off to trash. You are lucky if your
ISP sends it off to intended receivers, who may,
in turn, trash them.

I see them every day sent to mailers, then into
my email box shocking me, they got that far.
There must be thousands upon thousands of
sends that never make it out to even get to a receiver.

Trash Emails Sent Directly to  Trash mean …

– Misconfigured filters
– Bad settings on forwarding and pop/IMAP tab.
– Filters requesting a delete action if…

If you’ve enabled forwarding in your settings,
please ensure that you have not selected delete
Gmail’s copy in your forwarding options.

The same applies to using a POP client to access
Gmail. And accessing your Gmail from several
POP clients (with recent mode) leave that copy
of the message on the server.

Is your email account blocked because of some
one else’s spam?

Are you so worried about spam you use some
spam protector that automatically checks all
incoming emails and sends all questionable mail
to trash?

While these programs are designed to protect
big companies from air-borne threats including
ransomware and spear phishing, they can
utterly destroy your incoming email including
emails you expect to receive.

Their high catch ratio is designed to handle
thousands of incoming emails per day. Those
settings could eat your business mail alive.

Most certainly, you want as much protection
as possible against all forms of harmful and
undesirable email messages.

Trash Emails False Positives

Blocking spam and dangerous messages alone
does not define a great email filtering service.
The TE industry is seeing that repetitive action
by relying on outdated mods that suspend
or ban legitimate emails and sites offered for
marketing.

When owner/users spend 95% of their support
time dealing with offended users, consequences
can be very serious to their business.

Just choose a security program you can both
understand and control settings that will
protect your level of business against threats
like DDOS attacks, phishing, messages that
might contain dangerous links and harmful
attachments, everyday forms of spam and
rogue newsletters.

Gmail Account recovery

No article would be complete without letting
you into a great tip for those who do not
keep good password access records.

In the rush to be well organized the Gmail
accounts begin to add up. So do those
passwords.

Go to Google’s Account Recovery page,
enter your account information and click
NEXT. Then follow the choices.

Have not accessed your account in say
nine months or more? You may have a
real problem Gmail may have considered
your account abandoned and deleted it
from the server.
